my girlfriend has been really scared that shes pregnant,she is a virgin, she says she still hasnt had her period, but its only been like 3 weeks since her last one, plus the past week she started taking the pill, though now she is taking a placebo to switch to another pill next month. She has gained some weight, a couple pounds, and her breasts got bigger, though i think it may be a side effect of the pill. help?

shes on the pill?, shes a virgin? … how can she possibly be pregnant? unless shes not a virgin and shes cheating on u shes not pregnant

I am currently on the Implanon Arm Implant Birth Control. I need to switch. This is too crazy, My periods will last 2-4 weeks on end. I gain weight, I get so emotionally crazy my husband can barely stand it. The only plus is the not getting pregnant, and the higher sex drive. But Everything else makes this form not worth it. Also my breasts are sore 24/7 which is a side effect of the BC.
So what other forms could I take? I am already over weight and working on losing weight. So Depo shot might not be good. I use to take the pill, but I just do not wake up the same time every day, and i have a problem remembering. Maybe now that I have a phone and a regular schedule I could set a phone alarm for everyday at (time) so I remember to take it.. But the made me really sick. I really cant wear tampons, so I doubt I could use an IUD or NuvoRing. And Forget Diaphragms and such. is there any other form of birth control I could take?? I am going to the gyno, I am making an appointment right now. I am just wondering what you girls take or are on, so I can get an idea. But I will ask my doc. what she thinks as well.

I would say you could try the nuva ring. I used to wear it before switching back to the pill. I dont and cant wear tampons either but the ring is not like a tampons it is much thinnner and softer. When the ring is in you dont feel it and neither will your husband .
